NovaNuke is a lightweight, self-hosted content management system built for people who want to create and control their own websites.

It is written from scratch for modern PHP, uses server-side rendering, and is designed to run in environments ranging from a local Laragon installation to traditional shared hosting.

A small core with room to grow

A NovaNuke website does not need every available feature. A small website might use Pages, News and Search. A private website can add accounts, memberships and restricted content. Larger projects can use Downloads, Wiki, Comments, Web Links, Polls, Private Messages and other modules.

Themes control presentation, while menus and blocks organize the information around the main content. The goal is not to force every website into the same shape, but to provide pieces that can be combined according to the site being built.

Built for the independent web

NovaNuke is self-hosted software. Your website, content and database remain under your control. Traditional hosting still matters: not everyone needs containers, a complicated deployment pipeline or a permanent subscription to publish a useful website.

What you will find here

This website will publish release announcements, installation guides, module and theme documentation, tutorials, troubleshooting notes and development discussions.

The objective is not simply to leave another ZIP file on the internet. We want someone to discover NovaNuke, understand it, install it, build something useful and return later to learn what changed.
