Five Things to Do After Installing NovaNuke

A short checklist for turning a clean installation into your own website.

A successful installer is only the beginning. Before publishing your site, take a few minutes to establish a clean foundation.

  1. Review the general settings. Set the site name, description, locale, timezone and homepage.
  2. Review installed modules. Keep the modules your project needs and disable optional features you do not plan to use.
  3. Choose and inspect the theme. NovaModern is the default experience, but verify navigation and content on both desktop and mobile.
  4. Configure real email. Development mail logging is useful locally; a public site should use tested SMTP settings.
  5. Run the site checks. Use the NovaNuke CLI to inspect installation health before inviting visitors.

Next, read the Getting Started documentation for a guided tour of the administration area.
